The Local Authority offers lessons in flute, clarinet, saxophone, violin, cello and keyboard to pupils from Years 3 and 4 upwards. These are paid for direct to the Local Authority by parents. Children are encouraged to share these talents with other pupils through performances in school.
In 2012-13, the Local Authority have provided every child in year 5 the opportunity to learn to play the trumpet and loaned each child an instrument upon which to practice.
Year 3 children take part in the Westminster Cathedral Chorister outreach project with each class being taught by a teacher from the cathedral school and participating in a concert.
